# rpm -Uvh --force squirrelmail-toaster-*.rpm

If you used qtp-newmodel to update, the rpm will be in
/usr/src/qtp-upgrade/old-rpms/.

FYI,
reinstalling squirrelmail did not make a difference.
Did a qtp-backup
scp`d file to new build box,
qtp-restore,

All is good.
I guess maybe something got corrupt?

Thanks for all the help and hints evryone.

Update:
There were minor differances when I ran update on the good server,
( qtp-ami-up2date )

It said there was 1 update .

I rans same on bad server , no updates from qtp-ami-up2date

So I updated Good server,

Ran yum update on both, No updates.

I will check the apache logs on Bad server see if it shows any thing.

Thanks all

Notices are not errors and therefore do not explain the behavior you
are experiencing. And those notices seems to relate to qcontrol, not
squirrelmail.

As the servers are *not* identical in their setup, I would start
looking at differences in /etc/php.ini and Apache configs.

Also, did you check if SElinux is enabled or not in both servers as I
suggested earlier?

I'm out of answers then... It definetely seems like a Squirrelmail
problem. If reinstallation does not help and Squirrelmail configs are
identical on both servers, I really don't know what could be wrong. It
has to be something on your server as you have reported that on the
other server Squirrelmail works (and nobody else is experiencing this
behavior with their squirrels).

How does the file

Log in to squirrel mail,
Open email with attachments , in this case a jpg, or csv, or doc
Save jpg to any folder, try to open jpg, in Broswer it shows blank page.
In mspaint it says cant open file, unknow format.

Same with a doc, or xls file etc

I now have installed horde, logged in, same email same file, it shows
up no problem
So whoever wrote the wiki, thanks it worked like a charm
