Is this the error your machine is giving, or the recipient?
If yours, look at the top log and see if clamd/spamd are hogging all the
resources.

You probably need to upgrade your clam package. Check to see if you're
running the latest (the .90 series was also okay) and then upgrade if
necessary. Remember to remove clamav before building the new version or
you will create a circular dependency.

2008-07-15 Thread Gilbert T. Gutierrez, Jr.
What you need to do is import the key for yum to update that package that
way. You can manually install the application in Fedora5 as I believe you
have by doing the following...

cd /usr/src/qtms-install
wget
http://www.qmailtoaster.org/download/develop/clamav-toaster-0.93.3-1.3.20.src.rpm

rpmbuild --rebuild --with fdr50 clamav-toaster-0.93.3-1.3.20.src.rpm
rpm -Uvh /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/clamav-toaster-0.93.3-1.3.20.i386.rpm

You will probably need to restart the smtp service.

Re: [qmailtoaster] SMTP Problem QmailToaster

2008-07-15 Thread Gilbert T. Gutierrez, Jr.
I forgot to mention, one issue that I have with clam is when I perform an
upgrade, I normally have issues with the virus database. I have had to
delete the folder /usr/share/clamav/ before installing the newer version.
Otherwise I have seen many errors in my log file found at /var/log/clamav.

What you need to do is import the key for yum to update that package that
way. You can manually install the application in Fedora5 as I believe you
have by doing the following...

cd /usr/src/qtms-install
wget
http://www.qmailtoaster.org/download/develop/clamav-toaster-0.93.3-1.3.20.src.rpm

rpmbuild --rebuild --with fdr50 clamav-toaster-0.93.3-1.3.20.src.rpm
rpm -Uvh /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/clamav-toaster-0.93.3-1.3.20.i386.rpm

You will probably need to restart the smtp service.

Hi,
all subnets are there in tcp.smtp,
what I see here is clamd is utilizing 100% of the CPU load.

Hi Jake,

Please chek your tcp.smtp file first. Also make sure that clam and spam
services are running.

The ip address or the subnet to which your ip address belongs must be
allowed in the tcp.smtp file.

Anil Aliyan

Is this the error your machine is giving, or the recipient?
If yours, look at the top log and see if clamd/spamd are hogging all the
resources.
