Helmut - did you upgrade? I am in the same boat as you, I installed qmt-iso
1.2, and am scared to death to upgrade. The last time I tried that - I was
down for a while as I had to rebuild everything (it was my fault).

So is qtp-newmodel safe to run now if I installed with qmt-iso 1.2? Or do I
need to do an upgrade via another route (i.e. get the newest qtp and install
that first? Thx!

I would suggest downloading the latest version of QTP if you have not
already done so. QMT-ISO-1.2 installed the latest version on the day you
installed it, so I doubt this will be the same version I just released
yesterday.
But to answer the other part, yes, the qtp-newmodel script should be
fixed. I ran a test on it here, using ~4 versions ago QMT packages, and
while it did fail the first time I think that was a typo before I
released the final code.

When installing and it asks you to remove the data from the
/etc/mail/spamassassin directory (if you had rdj installed), does that mean
all the data, or just the RDJ folder that is in there?

I've shipped out the new version of QTP. Here's the release notes:

 06/27/07 - Jake [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  - Fixed minor bug with the -tight option for the blacklists
  - Added disclaimer to be shown to user during RoundCube
 installation
  - to warn that it's BETA software. Also added loop to
 increase the
  - amount of memory allocated to PHP to facilitate
 attachments better.
  - Renamed install-roundcube to qtp-install-roundcube for
 aesthetics.
  - Added comments to qtp-config and some other scripts for
 clarity.
  - Restructured qtp-config to make it easier for users to
 define variables.
  - Added qtp-clean-spam menu option which when installed will
 sa-learn
  - then delete spam messages found in a user's Spam folder
 (please see
  - wiki.qmailtoaster.com's section for --define 'spambox 1'
 for more info).
  - This is also installed as an hourly cron.

 06/26/07 - Jake [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  - Removed RDJ and replaced it with sa-update. It now
 automatically
  - installs OpenProtect's channel as well to update the rules
 that
  - RDJ supplied, and sets this up for a daily cron job.

 06/25/07 - Jake [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  - Updated qtp-newmodel so that when it downloads current.txt it
  - reorganizes the files into the correct installation order,
 instead
  - of the alpabetical order. This should stop dependency
 errors during
  - upgrades. Also added this functionality to qtp-ami-up2date.
Not too much else happened - added some comments to some of the
software. Most of you won't see that, but those that do will probably
be grateful.
I may hold off for a bit on the next release, to see what direction 1.4
branch is going to in.
As always, suggestions are welcomed. I'll update the webpage a little
later today.

According to the menu entry, should it not install it the first time? Maybe
