Re: [qmailtoaster] how do remove the password from the web interface[SOLVED]

2008-06-24 Thread Indracyd
Dear all, my problem is fixed & solved

i use article from MySQL sites
this is the steps if we don't know or forgetted the root password at mysql

1. Kill proses pid on mysqld
2. create mysql-init (ex:/home/radmin/mysql-init) this is the script on
mysql-init : UPDATE mysql.user SET Password=PASSWORD('bgr123') WHERE
User='root';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
3. start mysqld using ---init-file : mysqld_safe
--init-file=/home/radmin/mysql-init &
4. done

2008-06-10 Thread PakOgah

Sorry Late reply

salam kenal Indra, saya Amin Y
anda tidak bilang menggunakan CentOS 4 atau 5

saya asumsikan anda menggunakan CentOS 4
dan menggunakan mysql-setup.sh yang ada di
http://www.qmailtoaster.org/old/centos/cnt40/mysql-setup.sh

maka password mysql root passwd nya adalah
MYSQLPW=your-mysql-root-password

tapi klo anda menggunkan CentOS5 dan script yang ada di
http://www.qmailtoaster.org/old/centos/cnt50/mysql-setup.sh
maka password mysql root passwd nya adalah
MYSQLPW=YOUR_MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD

tapi klo 2 password tsb tidak bisa, anda bisa me-reset password mysql nya
di google sptnya banyak artikel tsb.

cheers

Eric,

I think I'm the only one who's never had an issue with vqadmin.

The only thing that I found doesn't work too well is domain options
(disabling features like POP/IMAP etc), adding/removing domains has
always worked fine.

Although I think I've just cursed it...

Re: [qmailtoaster] how do remove the password from the web interface

2008-06-04 Thread PakOgah

Hi Chun,
you can create a simple sql query like on your vpopmail.domain_com table
and put it in bash shell then add to cron like what I did

#!/bin/bash
# script to blank out clear text password
/usr/bin/mysql -u vpopmail -pSsEeCcRrEeTt -h localhost vpopmail -BNe
"UPDATE my_domain_com SET pw_clear_passwd=''"

the last quotes is
single quote, single quote, double quote

replace
SsEeCcRrEeTt with your vpopmail password
my_domain_com with your domain's table name
