Our prebuilt binaries are done with GCC 5.3 since a while, yes. That is not 
directly defining the minimum version that we support compiling with though.

That may have been the case for the precompiled version already,
but you *could* compile Creator yourself with older gcc versions.

The current change is about *requiring* gcc 5.3.

compiling steps that make this task even easier in 5.3, so I
