Re: [Qt-creator] Qt Creator 2.0 looks ugly on Debian/VMWare
Hello Aurélien, I ve installed xserver-xorg-dev, recompiled qt 4.7 and qtcreator and the GUI looks nice again. But now a new problem appeared. The fonts are much to huge. What's kind of strange: With the ugly GUI the fonts were Ok (you can compare it with the old screenshot). http://www.bluespirit.la/tmp/qtcreator-font2.png The workaround would be, to go to the Qt Settings and set the font size from 9 to 6pt, and the same also in the qtcreator editor settings. But this is not the way it should go... We had the exact same problem here. You have to install x11-dev & xproto-* libraries and it will be fine. [Qt-creator] Qt Creator 2.0 looks ugly on Debian/VMWare
Hello, on my old system (Gentoo + VirtualBox) the qtcreator worked great and looks fine, but on the Debian Squeeze installation with VMWare, the it looks really ugly: http://www.bluespirit.la/tmp/qtcreator.png I have compiled qtcreator with Qt 4.7, which I have installed (./configure --prefix /opt/qt-4.7) by my own (without package manager). The qtcreator from Debian (1.3.1) looks better, but has some font problems. I would be grateful for every hint...
