Re: [QUAD-L] Any other poet's out there?
More philosophy than poetry, but fresh inspired written expression, none the less... You never know what you've got until it's gone. Sometimes when others see what you've lost. They appreciate what they have even more. It's easier to go through life believing that everything happens for reason. This forces us to learn from our experiences. I often wonder how much of life is predestined. It's easier to understand, if we believe we have more choices. In the end it doesn't matter, somehow life is easier if we play into the illusion that we do have a choice. The truth is our lives are just a drop in the bucket of time. So it's important to stay close and support the ones we love. andrea murray <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi this poet is Wheelchair Warrior > > > The Warrior > Ive been searching > For my warrior > Ive been walking > Down tracks of time > Its such a struggle > To seek forgiveness > Like chains and shackles > These ghosts of mine > > Im crossing over heavens sea > Where my warrior is waiting for me > Crossing over heavens sea > Where my warrior is waiting for me > > Feels like Im dancing > With truth and wisdom > Precious rhythm > You are my guide > These days are sacred > My heart is humble > Oh warrior show me > The shinning light > > My dear warrior waits for me > On the other side of heavens sea > Oh can you hear me > I can hear you > Far beyond the tracks of time > Oh can you feel me I can feel you > Feel the power inside my life > > By The Wheelchair Warrior > Andrea Pepler-Murray > > > > > > Liz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I'm a writer/actor at > www.visibletheatre.com > - Original Message - > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: quad-list@eskimo.com > Sent: Saturday, November 12, 2005 7:06 PM > Subject: [QUAD-L] Any other poet's out there? > > > Hi All, >Anybody else out there a poet? > > Saturday dinner > Two sit alone > Empty nest ~ Bobbie ~ > > > > > - > Yahoo! [QUAD-L] Fwd: Victory in the House!
FYIDana --- Begin Message --- Title: Victory in the House! Dear Dana, As you probably know by now, yesterday the House leadership temporarily withdrew the budget bill from consideration because they did not have the votes to pass it—and it was your calls and e-mails, along with those of thousands of advocates across the country, that made the difference.* Together we have derailed, at least for now, a deeply immoral budget that would have hurt millions of Medicaid recipients and other vulnerable Americans. So pat yourself on the back—you deserve it. Congratulations! But our work is not yet done. The House leadership has been stung by this failure, and it will redouble its efforts next week to find enough votes to pass the bill. We will probably have to call on you again next week to keep the heat on members of Congress and press them to do the right thing. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the holiday weekend and that you come back next week with replenished energy for the next round in our battle to save Medicaid. As always, thank you for all your hard work! Luis HestresWeb Content Associate, Families USA * Staff in Capitol Hill offices reported that phones have been ringing off the hook and that some callers have had problems getting through. And some moderate House Republicans have defended their opposition to the budget bill by saying they have to reflect what they’re hearing from constituents. Re: [QUAD-L] housing prices
Since we've been looking to move it's quite difficult. I want the services and the birds & bees both! Yup. Wheel, ... I want my cake and to eat it too! I would say I have that. It takes me about 1/2 an hr to Cleveland where they have excellent hospitals & 1 a mile away which I really don't trust the care there. If I want to go to the mall, Sam's club, etc., they're only 7 miles away. So don't give up Lori, you CAN have your cake & eat it too. :-) Diane
Re: [QUAD-L] Anniversary & I'm back
Hi QP, I'm glad to hear you're out of the hospital, and hope that you're feeling better. It's good that they were able to find the problem before it did more harm to your health. Welcome back and drink water! They put me on an IV with antibiotics because I had a bad kidney infection and a UTI. It turns out this made my heart beat funky and also made my blood pressure go crazy and I would pass out. Any ways my heart is ok but it did scare me a little and my docs advice was drink water water water and then drink some more. IF I weren't in my condition ... I'd be like Thoreau and distance myself from civilization. I hear what your saying. What if you look for a log cabin that's not far from the services you need? That is my dream ~ Bobbie

I think that is happening all over the place. Inflate the valve and collect the taxes... Good Government, eh? Welcome Back Mark! You were missed. Besides, you are much too young to worrying about the heart, except a broken heart. So tip your water cup and salute yourself for staying with us. For curiosity's sake, What was so badly damaged with the old leaf that required it to be flipped; and, now that it has been, what methods do you propose following to ensure that it remained so?
