Hi all,

I wanted to keep you updated with the BBC auditions that I first went for a
couple of years ago...

I had another audition for the same show on Saturday (11th March) which was
the final audition for the show, and yesterday evening I got a phone call from
one of the producers..

I GOT THE PART! I will be playing a character called "Shelly" in
a new kids drama called Desperados, and will be filming it from the 12th June
through to the 1st September 2006 pretty mind blowing hey?!

It hasn't really hit home quite yet, but I get my contract sent through to
me next week along with some more details so I think thats going to be the point
when it really dawns on me that I've got the job!

So yeah, thought I'd share that with you, it's given my week a bit of
a brigher light what with my anniversary and all that, if thats possible!

vitamin C along with mendelamine creates a hostile environment for most
critters. It is still important to take acidophilus while on these types of
drugs. It helps replace the good bacteria. Any antibioticwill usually
wipe out the goodbacteria with the bad. It is always a good idea to make
sure your change inmedicine doesn't stir up massamounts of
sediment and cause a clog. Irrigating is smart because it really does take out
any high volumes of infection and you can understand what bug and strength of
bug you have. You can do your own testing for Ph. I have used a mild vinegar
solution in the sterile water but not when looking for test urine. Oh,
rinsewith sterile water after you rinse with vinegar. You could
administer other mild anti-biotics this way too. But I didn't tell you that.
I'mwhite vinegar should chemically break down the stuff that stones are
made of. But your bladder will disolve before the stones do if you actually
rinsed with the amount it would take to reduce a large stone. When you talk to
your doctor, don't be shy about wanting certain drugs available and
why.Try to get as clean catch as possible. You're getting very intimate
germs from whoever helps you. If you can keep it with only one or two people
you are best off. Catching germs from family seems less virulent and survival.
Day cares are radioactive! So, you can imagine what the b'girls leave you

ureters and once your back flowing to your kidneys, wellyou have an end

Did you know that you can attach bed bags so they drain to each other?
Handy tip if your in a hospital where they don't know what they are doing. It

I think I may have found how proteus got in my bladder.  It's just
a hunch  but I too thought it odd for a guy to have it.  The
beauty of the supra though is, if it doesn't reduce infections, you can
just remove it and return to the foley.

Eric

Lori Michaelson wrote:

Yesterday's response summed it up but in detail:

* We keep a jug of Clorox in the bathroom.

* We attached a small plastic funnel to about 4 inches of
tubing and keep it in a container (that was once used as the holder of
sterile water that the syringe is put in to draw fluid from)

* When it's time to clean either bag ... they grab the
thing we made and connect the tubing to the tubing on the urine bag.

* My aide or husband pours the small funnel (maybe one and
a half inches wide at the top .. one inch funnel depth) full of bleach
... IT drains into the urine bag.  Slow enough so one CAN see it's a
small funnel-full.  Or just pinch off the tubing when pouring.

* Then they fill the funnel 4 times with tap water.

* Disconnect our invention from the urine bag.  Take the
urine bag and swish or shake it up to clean it out.  Then empty it COMPLETELY
AND PRESS ALL THE AIR OUT OF THE BAG AND CLOSE IT OFF AT EACH END.  A
CLOSED SYSTEM.

Vinegar only goes so far at
cleaning.  BLEACH WILL KILL ANYTHING.

But Eric ... being male and
getting a proteus infection in the bladder is rare.  Females
unfortunately have our opening extremely close to the anus and since
proteus is USUALLY found in the bowel (and being normal THERE but NOT
SO in the bladder) ... I'd take a closer look on how you night have
contracted it in your urine being male.  Not to get personal ... but
the girlfriend and sex thing ?

We are ESPECIALLY careful and yet I got it in the
bladder.  Maybe from one bowel accident in bed, dunno.

Proteus is a bastard and, if not treated, can be
very dangerous.

E-coli is much more common.  And is why things
like mannose can help easily.

In the twelve years on this list (and others) ...
I've found that just as many people with supra-pubics get UTIs as those
with foleys.  Some with supra-pubics have complained more.  Either way
... they BOTH have foreign objects in the bladder (catheters).

Hi all,

I wanted to keep you updated with the BBC auditions that I first went for a couple of years ago...

I had another audition for the same show on Saturday (11th March) which was the final audition for the show, and yesterday evening I got a phone call from one of the producers..

I GOT THE PART! I will be playing a character called "Shelly" in a new kids drama called Desperados, and will be filming it from the 12th June through to the 1st September 2006 pretty mind blowing hey?!

I use a piece of legbag strap to secure mine with liberal amounts of Desenex underneath to keep my skin healthy. Seems to work pretty well.

I agree, it is a tragedy. I goy the chance to meet Dana at the "Spring Into Action Rally" in DC last year and she was one of the most kind and helpful people around. She sacrificed her arm in a closing elevator door, so I could get on, while we were on our way to visit our senators to ask for support for the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Act (CRPA).It's sad to think that Will lost his father, grandmother, and mother al in a matter of 15 months. You can send your condolences to the family through http://u2fp.org/Work2Walk/index.htm Ifeel that the best way for me to honor their memories is to attend the "Working 2 Walk Rally" on May 2, 2006. I will be there with countless others to try to get this bill passed into law and make a better future for everyone suffering from paralysis. Come join me. check outhttp://u2fp.org/Work2Walk/index.htm or http://u2fp.org/jOE "David K. Kel[EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:This is so sad. She was only 44, and their son, Will,is only 13. is going to be even better than last year, because of the addition of the symposium. there are going to be some revered scientist speaking about research for a "cure" and rehabilitation research.
