Following describes a Trillion ! To start, take a dollar bill that is 6 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and 1/200 of an inch thick. A Trillion silver dollars would weigh 8.8 million tons. A diesel train locomotive weighs around 100 tons and a Sherman tank around 60 tons. The carnival conquest luxury ocean liner weighs 130,000 tons and will cost 963 million to build, so a Trillion silver dollars weighs as much as 67 such ocean liners and would pay to build 1,038 such ships. A thousand seconds ago is about 20 minutes ago. A million seconds ago is 278 hours or about 11 days.
