[QUAD-L] Re: QUAD-L] Help for feet swelling?

2014-05-23 Thread Julie Napper
I bought some compression stockings and they put big blisters on my feet
because I put them on when my foot was swollen. It took about 4 or 5 months
for my foot to heal from the blisters. I will never do that again! Just
thought I'd throw that out to you guys.

Happy birthday to Nan and Larry! You both are amazing examples to all of us
“younger” quads. I am not sure that I want to last another 20 years, that would

wheel in front of another and it doesn’t seem to work) and proceed on with
life, hoping that we find happiness each day in some small way or another. Joan

[QUAD-L] Hands-free Harmonica

2014-05-23 Thread Jeremy Olson
Hi everyone,
Jeremy Olson here from New Zealand.

I am wondering whether you would like to take part in a project to develop
a hands-free harmonica instruction course for people with a high level
spinal cord injury.

You are welcome to use the course and provide your feedback to make it even
better.

You can find out more about the course on my website at
http://www.increasingcontrol.com/new-harping/

Anyway have a think about it,

Regards Jeremy.

You don't need a script for good compression stockings. I can't get the
strength I need from the pharmacy or Walmart, but My doctor recommended
ForYourLegs.com: Support Hose & Compression Stockings | Mediven - Jobst -
Sigvaris - Juzo .  I buy Sigvaris stockings, but Jobst are good too.

store, much cheaper over the counter but doc's can order different
compressions.
