Re: [QUAD-L] Core exercises
Greg, a really great excersise is to tilt your chair back a little (assuming you have tilt of course) and lean forward about 2"-3" and stay balanced as long as you can. It will strengthen your back and side muscles. Put both arms out to your side, a little lower than shoulder hight, and hold them there as long as possible. Repeat. Also, hold your arms out in front of you as long as possible. Repeat. ~~~ if you try to do both of these excersise, repetitively, extremly slowly ... it will be more effective AND more difficult as well. Actually ANY (not everyone of course) excersise you do in slow motion, is much more difficult and more effective. DON’T get a quantum! I just changed from a Quantum 6000z to a Permobil M300 and love it! Re: [QUAD-L] Core exercises
I had to get lateral supports on the side of my chair (power). My spine started to really curve. I can't do many exercises, but I often put wrist weights on. I wear them when just doing my regular daily stuff. I also swing my arms around sometimes. Greg > Wondering what exercises people do to help strengthen their core > and improve posture?
