this is exactly the way I am using my Eco as well, with the addition of
setting alarms, setting timers for kids homework, checking on my Google
calendar, etc.
The big thing I'm missing (and it might be out there but I don't have time
to be constantly hunting) would be the ability to place a hands-free call
to my attendant at the other end of my house either via voip or my iPhone
basically I'm a huge fan. Even my wife thinks it's a useful gadget!
