Re: [QUAD-L] Med
I just wonder how people can afford all of this. I know that many people are out of state plans and pay close to nothing but since I got a college degree, worked and my husband worked making my situation a lot different than most I am ineligible and have to pay 20% of anything. Because of what happened to me early this year I am most likely looking at surgery (inpatient unfortunately) and all because of someone's negligence! Further, like I've brought up in a previous e-mail just the cost of a new rehab power chair is just as much. When I got the chair I still have today (received in September 2011) it was $32,000 and because of my insurance I had to pay $5000 out of pocket. The years fly by and I am sure they cost just as much today which is more than most people pay for a brand-new car/vehicle. I wanted to try to get any chairs but my health has yet to be taken care of. ~Lori On Mon, Dec 5, 2016 at 8:07 PM, Larry Willis wrote: > In September I was in the hospital for ten days with cellulitis and > pneumonia. Re: [QUAD-L] Med
And what makes it 10x more immoral, the insurance companis with contracts, will settle with them for maybe $10,000. Though if you have no insurance, you pay ALL. So a big company, with record profits pays a 3rd of a poor person. > In September I was in the hospital for ten days with cellulitis and > pneumonia. Got the hospital bill today. [QUAD-L] Re: [QUAD-L] Pre pay smart 🤓 phone
I use a "grip it" sold at Hsn.com on my smart phone. I bought a Tracfone there. BTW they have a Samsung Tracfone today only which looks like a good deal. [QUAD-L] Re: [QUAD-L] the purple mattress… Is it effective for quadriplegics? The air mattress I have is painful
Response from the company: "We actually can't make any medical claims, but the purple helps to relieve pressure and give comfort!" I'm very tempted to give it a try.
