Can't be obvious :-)
Other than a few were cropped to get the corner of the roof out, or take off a bit to much empty space off. Not a single edited photo. No image was changed after taking the photo, regular camera, no apps, no Photoshop. Just a double exposure.

Well, firstly that is a GREAT photo of you with your furbaby!!!

But since I am into Digital Artwork I know that the other photos are
obviously edited to give them the appeal that people would want to print
out and order for anything from T-shirts to mugs, etc. etc. etc.

I think you did a fine job making all of your photos into something with a
very interesting appeal and "look" to them!!!

I use my Digital Scrapbook Program to get effects like this to put into my
layouts that I upload for fun and to join challenges with. I just haven't
had time to learn everything my digital scrapbooking program does since my
husband's death and everything else whereby my passion has been put by the
wayside. Photoshop and another program I have is also a spectacular way to
get those effects.

All in all... you did fantastic! Really. I am not just saying that.

Re: [QUAD-L] ABLE accounts

2017-01-04 Thread Lori Michaelson
The thing that is most disconcerting to me is how much to put into an ABLE
account and when and why. I began to fill out the form one day and I DO
qualify (according to the questions asked) but the next thing/button to
click on was "Open an ABLE Account" which, of course, I did not have the
complete information regarding my income, the state I live in (Arizona
might be one of the last to start them), and well it just gets pretty
mind-boggling. People's circumstances change day by day or month by month
or year by year so that comes into play as well. *Sigh*

[QUAD-L] Photographs

2017-01-04 Thread greg
I just put some of my photos up on FineArt, people can order prints, mugs, etc. I just thought you might like to see some. All the double exposures are 100% in camera, no editing. A few were cropped, but other than that, no editing, color correction or anything on any photo.

It is correct that the money must be spent on disability related purchases,
but it is extremely broad in terms of what it covers. Whenever you are
paying for care assistance, supplies, health insurance premiums, assistive
technology, and so much more qualifies as disability related expenses.

I believe I checked out but of those websites and am looking into it but,
if I read it right, you can only take money out of these accounts for your

Lori,

The following 2 websites should be helpful:

http://www.ablenrc.org/

http://www.stableaccount.com/

The latter website and ABLE Account program is based in Ohio but is open to
residents in all states. I live in Georgia and our state will be partnering
with Ohio and directing Georgians wanting an ABLE Account to utilize the
STABLE Account.

Re: [QUAD-L] If you won 500,000 how would it change your life as a quad?

2017-01-04 Thread Carolyn Boyles
I'd pay off the house, other debts, and if it were possible for hubby to
"buy" the extra years he needs to retire at full benefits, we might do
that. I know he'd like a larger house so we'd just have to juggle the
options.
