[QUAD-L] RE: alternating air pressure mattress

We have this same one and all you can do is put the pressure up and down; my 
husband keeps it at around 11 oclock. He has never had a pressure sore on this 
mattress, but it does not rotate you. It does "alternate" the pressure when you 
have it on that mode like every half hour or so. You will hear the air flowing 
around, but it's hard to feel. Sorry it is not comfortable for you.

I think I ordered the wrong one, because I've had it on my bed for 48 hours now 
and cannot get it to be comfortable.. I keep having to  put a bed pillow 
underneath my derrière..





It doesn't have an adjustment asking for the patient's weight, only a  way to 
adjust the pressure up and down. And I would like it to rotate me slightly as 
often as possible  to relieve the pressure points, and I felt absolutely no 
movement at all  and there is no way to tell it  the time intervals between the 
movement,, such as every 20 minutes, etc.

 On page 7  on thtthe instructions online, it shows a picture of the control 
box and tells what eeeach button does..
