CRT Stakeholders and Advocates,
In ongoing efforts to improve the regulations around Medicare's DME Competitive
Bidding program and new payment rates, there is a sign-on letter being
circulated within the House of Representatives. The letter is being led by
Representatives Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and Dave Loebsack (D-IA). Your
Member's signature is needed by end of day Friday.
The sign-on letter relates to a recent CMS Proposed Rule and calls for
improvements to the Competitive Bidding program and increased payment rates in
the bid and non-bid areas. The recommended changes would provide needed relief
for beneficiaries who are having difficulty obtaining vital equipment and
services.
