Congrats Dave,

It's going to help you so much.  I don't know what I would do without
it.  I don't even have to pay for Medicare each month.  The waiver
automatically takes care of that. If they don't, make sure and ask if they
do it in your state.

Nice to hear some wonderful news,
Stacy

  Hi Mark,
Just a sore arm from all of the paper-work for now, but I can tell it
is going to be a  lot better for me when all is done.  I really
haven't seen a down-side, unless the Agency R.N. comes out more than once
every three months.  I've had to go over her head once already so that my
supplies will get delivered the same day I sign the final
paper-work.  It would save them a trip and me waiting time, but the R.N.
wasn't open to my ideas.  I called her boss with whom I have been working
with since '87 when she was just a home health care nurse at the Agency!
I'll get my supplies the day I sign-up!!!

  Hi KK

I was just taken off the Texas waiting list and put on the
  Home
  and Community-Based Services Waiver (HCS-W).  I've been
on the waiting list for 21 months and I called them every 3 months to
ask what my number was.  They said they only tracked the people
that made it on the Waiver.  We're doing the paperwork now, but
the program already looks good to me already.
