You are most correct Floreen.  Quads should just be quiet and say nothing.
Quads are not capable of making political decisions and discuss the subject.
They should be more concerned with their feeding tubes, diapers and caths.
Speaking politics might expose them to fodder as well. I wish both you and
Jason the very best and hope you can protect Jason from further political and
self improvement discussions from other boards as well.  Maybe its just me, but
I haven't seen a political discussion on this board since before December 2008,
but you may have read different.

Please also be aware that if people like Justin Dart, Ed Roberts, Judith
Humann, Steve Gold, and Christopher Reeve has not participated in such lively
political discussions, that your Jason might not have some of those Human
Rights, that he shares today.  After all those rights did not fall from the

[QUAD-L] Disappointment-Logic

2009-01-13 Thread wheelchair
I accept your apology, but question your logic. I am not privy to any other
groups you and Jason might be associated with, but feeling somewhat that the
Quad-List is affected by what happens elsewhere. So you can imagine my
surprise when I get punched in the nose, because of another's comments in a
different chat room. I fail to comprehend the logic of that. I do know that
the
Quad-List is made up of Male Females of different backgrounds, from all over
the world. How dare any member of this group point the finger to another.
I also know that Jim Lubin, the owner and host of this discussion board,
would not allow such behavior in this discussion board.
I hope that both you and Jason reconsider your position in leaving the
Quad-List, but then again... its your choice.

Best Wishes!

Jason the very best and hope you can protect Jason from further political and
self improvement discussions from other boards as well. Maybe its just me,
but I haven't seen a political discussion on this board since before December
2008, but you may have read different.

Please also be aware that if people like Justin Dart, Ed Roberts, Judith
Humann, Steve Gold, and Christopher Reeve has not participated in such lively
political discussions, that your Jason might not have some of those Human
Rights, that he shares today. After all those rights did not fall from the
heavens in favor of those with disAbilities.

Bless you darlin and Bless your Jason.

Politics is involved in every breath you and I take. Most the most of it
and ..

Best Wishes!

Dear Quad-List,
I happen to be very disappointed about the political emails going on in this
group. For some reason when I signed up for this group I didn’t think
Politics had anything to do with it, unfortunately they have lately. I know
that
everyone is entitled to their own opinion but aren’t there other groups online
for sharing political views?
Since this issue in this group has arisen I would like to unsubscribe to the
group.
Thanks for all your help now and then.
Sincerely,
Floreen Thurston wife to Jason c5-6 incomplete diving accident in 2004
