Re: [QUAD-L] Gallbladder problems?
I had a colostomy surgery performed in late May, but I had some difficulties with too much still coming out every other day and blowing the waffer. I was at wits and when I contacted the store when yours from the colostomy supply company as well as my own stoma nurse. They both suggested bowel irrigation. Since my body have been used to doing the bowel regimen every other day for 20 years, we switch to irrigating my bowels every other day and have had tremendous success with that. It's not for everybody, but it has made my somewhat irritable bowel problem much easier to control. That way if I get diarrhea I am able to put on an irrigation sleeve and repeat my bowel regimen. Re: [QUAD-L] Gallbladder problems?
Nicki, I don't understand, do you have a colostomy now? BTW, how much is involved with getting the surgery to have a colostomy? How long does the recovery take? Do you have to stay in the hospital? Why do you think this is your gall bladder? However, I am having pain when sitting on shower chair and I think it's my rear (hemorrhoids), we just don't see any prolapsed yet. I will again be considering a colostomy if more problems present. Fast, easy, clean, 2 minutes a day, 5 minutes once a week or so. And that's over estimating. I recommend looking into it and asking your Doc. RE: [QUAD-L] Gallbladder problems?
I had a major hemorrhoidectomy last December and considered a colostomy then. The amount of feces coming out at night would probably blow a colostomy bag offseriously. However, I am having pain when sitting on shower chair and I think it's my rear (hemorrhoids), we just don't see any prolapsed yet. I will again be considering a colostomy if more problems present. I finely got a colostomy. I only wish I would have gotten it 30 years ago. I put it off thinking it would be embarrassing, but it was s much nicer. Fast, easy, clean, 2 minutes a day, 5 minutes once a week or so. And that's over estimating. I recommend looking into it and asking your Doc. [QUAD-L] Gallbladder problems?
For about 3 ½ months I have been having problems w/ having to call one of my caregivers to come and get me up on my shower chair at night about 3.5 to 4 hours after I eat dinner. It was once a week then I quit taking Culterelle and Ive been going about 10 to 14 days in between episodes. No particular type of food sets it off, Monday night it was stew. The stool isnt watery but lacks form, kind of like a cow patty .I know, gross. I do bowel program on M W F and it has been both on bowel program days and not on bowel program days. Open to any and all experiences or suggestions calling dr in the morning. Nicki C5/6
