Hello dear comrades,
OK, here is the set up. I've got a lot on my mind, like July 7th I'm
going to a wound care Dr. because I have the beginnings of a pressure sore
on my upper thigh, July 19th I'm going to a neurosurgeon to find out how he
can help me with my syrinx that is causing out of control pain in my neck
from C 4 to C 7. August 4th I'm going to the hospital for a procedure to check
out my stoma from my urostomy because I've been getting a lot of bleeding.
Yesterday I went to my GP and found out I have Mersa in my urine which most
likely means I have Mersa in my open wound as well. My right shoulder hurts
like hell because I have arthritis, bone spur and chronic tendentious in the
rotator cuff.
My s/o care taker 24/7 for over 25 years turns me on my left side to give
me the magic bullet, which hurts my shoulder because I have no support for
it, which means I can't sleep because of the pain in my neck and shoulder. I
can't turn on my other side because of the stoma. Pete turns me around
2:30am so I can get some sleep - this is after he cleans me up. As he turns me
he discovers that the bed is completely soaked because the stoma is leaking,
urine every where. Now he has to turn me on my back and change the stoma
which takes about 45 minutes while Iay naked because my bed shirt got wet and
if I put on a clean one it also will get wet before he changes the entire bed
which he dose after changing the stoma. OK, now the bed is changed, with me
in it, and now he needs to change the dressing on my wound on my upper
thigh. So, now it's 3:45am I watch a little TV to calm down, fall asleep around
5:30am when around 7:00am the lawn more crew shows up at our apartment
complex to wake us up. Bobbie
