[QUAD-L] Question for the Ladies on the list
Hey Gals and girls, Any of you go through times where you have one vaginal infection after the other ( both types) Endlesss creams and even oral pills only helping for a week. I am interested if any of you ladies have used anything like Rephresh or natural therapies? Meredith

I also hope you agree that often two bodies are not the same and so form of protection should be used to prevent passing an infection or causing abrasion. Great Female Topic! For a limited few,(and I mean few) it can be done. But consider all the bacteria in that area plus and friction causing internal abrasion and further infections. Surprising, you are not the first to ask or inquire. I've heard of partners catching an infection from a partner or spouse who had a budding infection and didn't realize it. You may have answered your own question. Sounds like your insurance company may be sitting on the idea and that is truly a shame. We were much luckier. Our Neuro did his residency at Northwestern years before he came out to the surburbs and when he placed his call, it was directly to Dr. Betts, the Executive Director at the Hospital. Talk about greasing a pathway, lol. Dr. Chen was still a resident of the 3rd floor seeing patients daily. Today, Dr. Chen, head up the Spinal Cord Injury Department at RIC. Wheelchair, Yes, I did have a referral from my primary care physician, and I think the whole problem and hold up is with my insurance paying for it. I'm at RIC almost weekly, passing out peanuts and beverages, lol. RIC, has been voted for the last 15 years, the Best rehab hospital in the United States. RIC, is a doctor's referral hospital and you have to be referred by your specialist. I'm sure the same applys to RIM, in Michigan. Good Rehab Hospital are difficult to get into, but do great jobs. Rehab Institute of Chicago (RIC) has an inhouse group called, Health & Resource Center for Women with Disabilities, with website and email address, if you so want and need. But I'm sure that you have been told that "Crips" are not suppose to enjoy life and have sex. But we know that it still happens and it can be done. Remember Paul Berg's message, "The Impossible only Takes a little Longer." I'm talking about prior to being quadriplegic, though. If any of you would be comfortable with my asking, (not for personal examples or anything like that), and would be comfortable with answering, I would really appreciate it. There are things I've wondered about since I knew what sex was. If you would be comfortable with this, please just e-mail only me so we can keep it private. I do have able-bodied female relatives, but I really don't want them knowing for certain that things of this nature still cross my mind. I assure you, I am not a minor.
