Re: [QUAD-L] Roho seat cushion
Is this different from the Roho Quadtro? I think mine is a Quadtro, and it has 4 areas that after you sit in it you lock the air in place. It is supposed to help with stability. But there is only 1 valve. You can't inflate each separately. You move the air where you want it by sitting on it, then lock it. Greg > The entire seat is divided into 4 sections. Hi Bobbie, "KK" and all, ROHO makes a wide variety of sandard and custom cushions. The one I use is the ROHO High Profile Quadtro Select. As Bobbie explained, it consists of air filled neoprene cells--the cells on the Quadtro Select are divided into four chambers--two in the back (one that supports each ishium) and two in front. In the front of the cushion is a red/green adjustment button--push the green button and all of the cells of the entire cusion are connected--position yourself they way you want to be supported, then push the red button and the air in all four chambers stays in place for a custom fit. A fit that can be changed throughout the day. Disclaimer--I write a blog for ROHO. Last year I wrote a blog explaining how often insurance will pay for a new cushion--every 3 years--and how to go about getting properly fit for a cushion. Re: [QUAD-L] Roho seat cushion
Sounds great Bobbie, That sounds like a good deal. I use a Quattro high-profile .Love it. I have been on since 1978 I have duct tape some of the cells down when I had a sore. I know they made specialty cushions from RohOknow they have battery operated cushions. Re: [QUAD-L] Roho seat cushion
Bobbie, I am on a Roho Contour Select. It is a cushion with air cells but the area of the cushion where your Ishialls would be is cut out so your boney protuberances are suspended in the cutout. I purchased the cushion from Spinlife.com. They help with the paperwork for insurance.
