Three times. Once when I had The injury I drowned, dead for about 12 minutes.
Second time anesthesiologist put me in cardiac arrest prior to spinal fusion.
Last month I went into a coma my stats were 40 oxygen. Three days with hospice
standing by and 60 people in my bedroom (I have a big family) saying goodbye.
My daughter put on a favorite song (Spirit in the sky) and my eyes opened and I
asked, “what the hell are you all doing here?”

Guaranteed I will not have that many when I do pass.

Hi Lori, Eric,Jim, Greg, Nancy and all fellow Quad-list members,
I have suffered numerous medical situations that could’ve ended my life.
The Lord is not finished with me yet. Lori and all, I commend you on
your survival experiences. I wish I could document all my experiences like
Lori is able to do. I thank you all for sharing your life stories. I
have had some strange experiences when septic. I was in a coma twice.
Several situations were physician error. Yesterday after leaving a
appointment for blood work and Prolia shot for osteoporosis. My caregiver
hit the curb and blew out my tire and wheel on the front right tire. I was
able to get it towed by AAA but it took an hour and a half to find someone
to bring me home. A taxi service said they did not provide that kind of
transportation. Finally someone through AAA found out three places to
call. It happened around 5:30 PM and I got home around 9:30 PM. I am at
blessed that AAA waited till 10-10 large wheelchair assessable van
arrived. I thought it was going to be a desperate situation. AAA wanted
to pay for it by credit card but the taxi company would not accept. I
thought this was strange. Has anyone else ever had this experience, when

My injury (car accident) happened nearly 40 years ago and I was in the
hospital for a total of 13 months (October 1979 to the end of November
1980) because I was so bad. I was not even able to sit up until I got to
rehab so I was flat on my back for at least two thirds of that time which
included a neck fusion and having a tracheotomy at least 8 months. During
that time alone I came close to dying so many times I can't even remember
if and ever since.

I had such a bad neck injury that I choke often but have figured out that
it is from tight neck muscles so it is 100% easier for me to swallow laying
down. I have choked over 1000 times or more whereby I almost died. A
neurosurgeon nearly killed me in Brooklyn New York after I finally got the
diagnosis of Posttraumatic Syringomyelia and would have easily died if my
ex common-law husband of 13 years was not with me. They let cerebral spinal
fluid leak out of the back of my head for two weeks without doing anything!

That is only a small list of so many times and I almost died this year when
my sodium level dropped so low that I did not know who I was, began chewing
on my finger without even knowing it (and I would have broken it had my
caregiver not noticed it was happening) so I was rushed to the hospital and
spent two weeks in ICU, aspirated twice before and after the hospital
requiring a chest tube and one week later for a total of three weeks in the
hospital this year. Unbelievable.

but then one of the nurses knocked it loose and didn’t notice, but luckily my
