Yeah... my caregiver had one of these so I tried it but it just doesn't do it for me. Only fingernails can get the itches to subside for me. :-( On Mon, Jan 25, 2021 at 7:30 PM Paul Jacobson wrote: > This head massager is ideal for quads.less than $2! > > *From:* Paul Jacobson > *Sent:* Monday, January 25, 2021 1:58 PM > *To:* Greg ; quad-list > *Subject:* Re: [QUAD-L] Itching Head > > [image: PRO Scalp Exfoliator - KITSCH] > > *From:* Greg > *Sent:* Monday, January 25, 2021 1:43 PM > *To:* Paul Jacobson > *Subject:* Re: [QUAD-L] Itching Head > > link did not work or me. > > On 1/23/2021 9:26 AM, Paul Jacobson wrote: > > These head massagers are $0.98 and quad friendly. Packard's Tar Soap, has been around since 1920's. It comes in bar form . Some don't like the smell of tar soaps, but it is a very clean smell. I used to pay 50 cents for a bar. Today, it is more that $5 dollars, if you can find it on the internet. Best Wishes In a message dated 8/25/2017 4:19:08 P.M. [QUAD-L] Itching scalp
Someone was asking about what to do for itchy scalp. I gave the wrong information. Here is the correct information. I use V O 5 hot oil treatments It moisturizes the scalp and softens your hair. Sorry about that, Bobbie "Be the change you want to see in the world". Gandhi
Re: [QUAD-L] itching
I have an interesting problem until recently. I had a tremendous amount of itching and flaking problems for the better part of the first 18 1/2 years I was injured. I, however, have pretty much resolved my dandruff and in large part the itching problems I had. I began working on this eager and a half ago. I worked with the product T gel shampoo whenever the dandruff was really bad, but the key was to let the product sit on your scalp for 5 to 7 minutes. I also had to wash my hair at least every third day, preferably every other day because my hair was so oily and looked disgusting. Well I started to use hats in order to drive my chair with a Magictek. So even though my hair got oily, I started watching it less and less and noticed a significant improvement in the flaky scalp. After about eight months of this I noticed that the oiliness had diminished to the point where I didn't have to wash my hair but once a week. It still looks good throughout the majority of the week. My hairstylist said that when you wash it too much it encourages the hair to produce too much oil. Anyway, I was able to gradually use generic forms of head and shoulders in order to control the dandruff and right now (knock on wood) I haven't had to use a dandruff controlling shampoo in more than a year. Good luck on getting rid of the itching. Quadius PS in an effort to disclose everything, I do have problems with itching on my face and hair whenever my blood pressure goes up or I have minor A.D. I don't consider this part of the itching scalp problem because this is purely neurological. PSS sorry if I made too many mistakes, I was in a hurry and didn't really go through my correspondence to carefully. If you remember when you first inquired about the itch, I recommended Packard's Tar Soap. Actually, any tar soap will do. Lots of T- soaps contain tar soap, like T-Gel. I prefer a bar of Packards.
