With the Brook Ellison Story I was amazed with her ECU She had a
retainer in her mouth and with the tip of her tongue she navigated her
power chair, bed, computer, lights, doors and TV

I've seen The Brooke Ellison Story. While it is certainly
inspirational, it seemed a bit too syrupy for my taste. We all know
that quadom has no wine and roses outcome. You suffer, struggle, and
get by the best you can. Or maybe I missed the point of the story -- I
don't know.

Christopher Reeve did a movie called Rear Window after his injury. Ironicly 2
days before his injury a movie called Above Suspicion was released. He was also
in it and he plays a paralyzed man . Above Suspicion was pretty good.

Yes, I do remember theses episodes. The man who played the Quad ended
up getting married in one episodes. I don't remember the actor's name.

I remember an episode or two of Michael Landon's Highway to Heaven that
featured a guy who was an actual quad. Landon featured a number of
disabled people in the series. Anyone else remember this?

How about "The Other Side of the Mountain" and "The Other Side of the
Mountain II" ... They're a little sappy, but give a good feel for
care/rehab/life "back in the day".

Or, "Coming Home" with Jane Fonda & Jon Voight " ... tho he's a para
not a quad.
