I feel the same as Ron. My syrinx area where I had surgery is my biggest
pain area. Unfortunately I can't do little push-ups because of the level of
my injury. That is why I moved back to southern Arizona for the warmth but
when I get cold/chilled it takes me 5 hours to get warmed up with several
blankets on me. On the flip side I can cool down in minutes or less by
removing the blankets and drinking something cold.

Unfortunately, my live-in caregiver is exactly the opposite. It gets down
to 43° at night which goes up and down throughout the winter but she keeps
her window open at that temperature and she would rather be cold and warm
up with blankets and socks and then she gets too hot again. Glad that she
is on the other side of the house!
