Re: [QUAD-L] Alternating seat cushions
Hi Kathy, I'm sorry that the acquilla did damage to your skin causing a pressure sore area. Was the cushion not made may properly bottom. I use the high profile quadtro cushion and I like it lot. I hope that you find the best cushion that works with your body. Re: [QUAD-L] Alternating seat cushions
Hi Dan and Kathy... The other day, I saw that a person named Kathy at posted a question Dan is the man that you should be asking these questions to, Kathy. I know him because he used to run advertising banners on my website, Dangerwood. located at Www.SurvivingParalysis.com. It is a magazine that also has an interactive forum just like the quad list, only not as active (unfortunately). So, on that note, Dan, here is Kathy's question: Has anyone used an alternating seat cushion? I purchased one from the Aquila Corp. It pinched my skin and I developed a pressure sore. Wondering what has helped keep sores away? I'm almost ready to start getting up again and need a decent cushion - Original Message - From: kathy To: quad-list@eskimo.com Sent: Wednesday, April 27, 2011 4:15 PM Subject: [QUAD-L] Alternating seat cushions Has anyone used an alternating seat cushion? RE: [QUAD-L] Alternating seat cushions
Hi Kathy, I have tried a variety of cushions and have settled on a Roho Quadtro high profile cushion that has helped a lot, but nothing, and I mean nothing, works optimally without also incorporating frequent pressure relief (a.k.a. weight shifts), at least in my case.
