Re: [QUAD-L] Colloidal Silver vs. Antibiotics (was--Getting Supra Pubic in 3 ...

2008-04-16 Thread John S.
yes, you can use colloidal silver with a nebulizer. It isn't like taking most
antibiotics. It has to get into your system. What you notice after using it for
awhile is how many fewer times you get infections, of all kinds.
Don't stop taking what the doctors are giving you, but an hour after you take
antibiotics, take acidophylus. Each morning add a multi vitamin and 500 mg of
vitamin C. It can be taken a second time each day. You can get probiotic
capsules that are loaded with good bacteria. By taking them an hour after your
antibiotics it gets your system back into a normal balance. The idea of taking
it regularly is to give good bacteria a chance to starve the bad bacteria. Once
you are feeling better you only need one capsule a day.

I Wish you the Best,
john

Does that work with respiratory problems. I had pneumonia several weeks ago
in the hospital and I was on three different IV, because over-the-counter
antibiotics did nothing as I had taken four different antibiotics at home and
am still horribly congested although it is not yellow and no fever. I don't
know if I have caught another bug since then. I called my pulmonary doctor
that I had in the hospital and his nurse said it just takes a long time to get
over, so I went to a second opinion. That doctor ordered Pulmicort & Brovana
to be taken in the nebulizer each morning and night and a Duoneb to be taken in
the afternoon. Yesterday after I got up oh so congested I could not keep the
button of my trach in and breathe. I had just taken a Duoneb breathing
treatment, so my friend who is a respiratory therapist said like take another
one so I did. After taking it I was OK in till after my care and getting that
way again and needing another breathing
treatment two in a row although waiting about an hour in between them.
My doctor through the second opinion are trying to get to newer medications to
use but having trouble with insurance because it's a compound mix. The doctor
will probably have to prove it is needed with clinical I guess from what my
nurse manager of insurance said I may have to try a specialty pharmacy. My
pharmacy had Pulmicort but could not get brovana and another pharmacy I called
could get both. Is anybody familiar with this treatment and medications used in
the nebulizer? . I normally just get bronchitis in the winter one or two times
but not hospitalized. A couple years ago I did get Pseudomonas and use the pic
line at home and it went on for two to three months.

Just wondering if anyone knew if colloidal silver would help with
respiratory . I have only noticed you talking about UTI's.

Thank you John or anyone else familiar with colloidal silver. .

where do you get your colloidal silver, the price and how often do you take and

Dana I think it depends, if it's bacteria most likely but viral I'm not
sure.
You can take a look at the sites that sell it.

You don't turn blue from real colloidal Silver. It occurrs when taking protein
silver. When you use the Colloidal Silver, you want to hold it under your
tongue for about 30 seconds once a day. It is incredibly cheap compared to
antibiotics that you are no longer needing. The more times you avoid using the
other antibiotics the better they work when you do get an infection that isn't
responding to your preventions.
The stuff is so safe you can use it in your eyes and ears.
You can get antiseptic catheters that are impregnated with silver. Let me know
if anyone tries them?

Hi Mark...

Ya know, I've thought about colloidal silver as well as D-Mannose(sp?) but
can't get myself past the cost for both. Plus there's the selectiveness of
organisms I read they can both have.

The blue skin is something I'd like to avoid, too. How many saw that **Really
Blue** guy on the Today Show a month or so ago? I knew about the possibility
of a blue tint but THIS guy, especially with his white beard, looked like a
giant Papa Smurf!!

Have any colloidal silver users here noticed the "blue tinted skin" thing yet?
I understand it's permanent.

Yes , Tod... like W said, that guy drank glasses full each day for a long
period of time, you are supposed to only take a few tablespoons of it a day.
Plus all the reputable sellers have never had that happen to anyone. Also
on the D Mannose issue---It works excellent BUT it is only good for 1
type of bacteria and that is the E. Coli type ONLY. If you have any of
the other bacteria UTI's it won't help.
