Re: [QUAD-L] close call

2008-03-29 Thread John S.
If you use narcotics to resolve your pain then you need to take something to
resolve the side effects of the narcotics or you'll be bloated and possibly
impacted if it goes on too long. There are a few different ways to deal with
it. Drink more water and work out how much Mirilax you need. Adding pro biotics
will often restore peristalsis. Your doctor should be able to help you or try a
pharmacist since it probably doesn't require a prescription. Get some exercise
if it is possible.

Best wishes,
john

pain meds don't help much. I have figured out this week that eating too much
seems to make it worse. I ate a taco salad for supper last night and woke up at
7 with abdominal spasms that are just now starting to ease, 10 am. My stomach
hurts and I feel like a train wreck. Just another wonderful day in quad-city.

When I was having AD during my bow routine, I was told to take pain medication
before starting and it just relieves pain, but does not control the trigger at
least for me.

So can you control the trigger with pain meds?

Well I just got some info about my close call and I don't know whether to be
worried or not. I didn't have a uti afterall. In fact, they don't have a clue
what caused it. I still feel like manure after 2 weeks. It was obviously severe
AD, but I don't know the trigger.

Glad you're now doing better.

Never exp the bad episodes you described.

I just get the feeling that the back of my skull is ready to explode from AD.

Good luck,

Hey guys. I had a really nasty experience this week and thought my end had

I've had the shakes and cold sweats many times before, but I have never
experienced anything like this. I thought my time had come. The doc put me on
levaquin, ditropan, and dantrolene. Only today have I begun to feel better.

Well first it's good to see you're ok!
I've had a uti put me in the hospital before but not like that, I passed out
in my dr's office while driving my chair going into the waiting room and
luckily my aid was keeping a good eye on me before I took out a few
computers.
She seen me pass out and took my hand off the joy stick just in time.
But it was just the opposite for me my blood pressure was extremely low and
that's why I passed out.

It's crazy being a quad!
