Re: Where to buy memory

Excuse me, but last time I checked IE was the most commonly used web browser. Yes,
HTML written for IE is HTML. Or are you that ignorant of reality?

I'm sure there was some connection there but you totally lost me. Unless you

think you've hit a home run.

HTML is *not* HTML when it's written for IE on a PC.

pricewatch looks fine on my G4 with Safari. I don't think it was "designed" to be
viewed with a PC and IE. HTML is HTML and should work correctly on all platforms.

I don't normally buy used RAM because it's typically no more expensive to buy
new with a lifetime warranty.

I find RAMSeeker.com to be far better for legacy RAM. And some of the vendors
on PriceWatch are less than reputable, whereas RAMseeker doesn't seem to have
that problem.

Also, it's quite clear that Pricewatch is designed to be viewed on IE on a PC,
which makes the site rather annoying to use on a Mac.

I'm planning to max out my 840AV from 64 to 128MB.
I've never bought used memory so have no idea what the track record on
reliability might be.
Would you folks suggest finding/buying new memory or perhaps buying
used on eBay.
