Re: [q] use for an lc 475

2005-03-12 Thread J SMITH
If you get a MIDI device (Keyboard, synthesizer, etc) you can hook it up and use it with
Encore, Finale, Mastertrax or a similar program for creating music.

My high school used to have this setup, and it's the reason that I have one of these
computers at home now.

Hi all i have just come across my old Lc 475, in my shed on inspection it has a 2gb hdd a
12mb ram and system 7.5 loaded there is a 14" monitor with it and an ADB mouse but no
keyboard. (so i need one of these) what is a good use for this mac as i hate to see things
go to waste and i am sure i can find a place for this in the home some where.

PS.. no fish bowl and stand ideas! or door stops..!
Remember this Mac works fine just needs a keyboard.

Any SCSI experts?

2002-09-09 Thread Gregory J. Smith

I have a 80 pin SCSI drive that I'm trying to hook up to my Macs 50 pin
SCSI bus. I have the right adapter but cannot figure out how to
configure it. Both the adapter and the drive have settings for ID and
such.

Can you name this card?

2002-07-22 Thread Gregory J. Smith

I just aquired a Quadra 700 and it contained two video cards. One says on it
"Apple Display Card 670" and the other is made by Radius and has a GS/C-MP
but I cannot identify it other than that. Any idea on how to identify the
Radius card?
