George, Go to the Gamba web page - http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/ There are a lot of good bootable disk images there. If you have to DL them to a PC, there is a link to tell you how to get it to a Mac. I used the super75 boot disk to reformat my HD when nothing else worked.
