Hello All,
My beloved 660av is causing me concern. It's having regular type 2 errors, disappearing hard drives and sad mac's (in that order) before I spend a time consuming HD wipe and reinstall. I have some culprits and I wanted your opinions before I either repair (if I can ($$$)) or shoot it.
Have you rebuilt the desktop lately? Any problems with extensions off? Disk doctor says everythings fine? Have you run any other disk diagnostic tools?
3.2 for the pram should be ok and shouldn't cause what your describing, a flakey os install might though.
Test things with the extensions off and work up from there.
