Hmm How about if you just install MacsBug and then install some MacsBug
Macros. Then when you are in the Debugger, you can hit the F2 key to return
to shell or hit the F5 key to restart for example. :-}

A Better way of being Technical. :-}

Besides I love to Hack My System and Anything else with ResEdiit, Also Using
AppleScript and I have BMUG's Zen and the Art of ResEdit and BMUG's The Tao
of AppleScript. :-}

Lots of other AppleScript books too!!

Technical is when you know how to send Apple Event codes and have a List of
them that you made by examing Scriptable Applications. :-}

It doesn't, because "FINDER" isn't an address or command.

"F6D8" *is* a command, which is why it does something :)

While I've never used G FINDER the FINDER part should do something.
Simply typing G will resume execution where the program was
stopped when interrupted.

I always used G F6D8 or something like that which made a
call to the Exit Shell system call (IIRC). Later you could just type

What's more "Technical"

2002-08-14 Thread Ryan

OK, I'm for real, I've been with PCs a while, and Macs a Good while. But
what's more technical? That's for you to decide. PCs have CMOS and BIOS,
and Macs have a built in interupt switch where you can get out of a crash
with G FINDER 99% of the time. So what's more technical? Tell me, I want
your opinion
