Good tip, will put some 'plugs in my car. It's only when you pull up and realise how loud the radio had to be to overcome the wind noise that you realise how bad it was. I don't dare think what the noise level is if you go over the speed they quoted! How many of us drive 2+2's & H4's with the windows down on long jjourneys ? This simple measure cut the level to 82 decibels" Long journeys in 7 type roadsters (Extremes etc.) without the sidesceens on is quite unpleasant but very exhilarating ! I drove from Sussex to Scotland overnight with the top down all the way. And John O Groats to Lands End non stop on the EE24 run with the roof down most of the way (except when it rained).
