[Quantum Owners] Re: Tegiwa radiators
I was thinking of putting one on my Saloon as part of the diesel engine replacement. The price looks very tempting, particularly given the apparently high quality of the units. But size does appear to be an issue - the Tegiwa radiator would just about fill the nosecone, leaving very little room for the intercooler. It might be possible to fit the intercooler behind the radiator, but I won't know how much room is available until the engine is offered into place (soon!). Meantime I've got my eye on a shorter/wider unit, which might allow fitment of an intercooler above/below it. Tony. Re: [Quantum Owners] Re: Tegiwa radiators
Most of the turbo diesel Quantum saloons i've seen have used the Escort RS Turbo radiator/intercooler combination. This has the intercooler bolted to the side of the radiator making one unit that fits in the same place as a standard Escort radiator. Re: [Quantum Owners] Quantum on Ebay
Any Webber stockist should have the solenoid, but from experience they are expensive. If you have no run-on problems, but the valve is faulty and sometimes shuts off the fuel when you are driving (not an uncommon fault), you can get round the problem by just removing it and filing the end off the plunger! - Original Message - From: jim blair To: quantumowners@googlegroups.com Sent: Thursday, July 07, 2011 6:51 PM Subject: RE: [Quantum Owners] Quantum on Ebay hi all, could anyone advise wher to get fuel cut off solenoid, that fits into side of weber carb on quantums xr2 cvh engine ?the one with wire to it ?,,also lpg system for sale, currently on quantum saloon ?£250 o.n.othanx jim blair From: hansdefau...@hetnet.nl To: quantumowners@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: [Quantum Owners] Quantum on Ebay Date: Wed, 6 Jul 2011 10:28:39 +0200 Is this Dutchman to cunning . . . or . . .
