[Quantum Owners] Stoneleigh question about where to park
I will hopefully will be driving the Xtreme to Stoneleigh on Monday. Would it be possible to park it on the club stand? [Quantum Owners] Looking forward to seeing many of you again at Stoneleigh.
It's been a while and some of you know, my Xtreme is back in my ownership. The car has spent most the year off its wheels while I worked on and off getting her safe to drive again. She looked good to the passing eye but the previous owner was not an expert in engine removal and must have had a big box full of bits when he finished putting her back together. Anyway, my Xtreme is going for her MOT next week and fingers crossed she will pass allowing me to bring her to Stoneleigh on the Monday. I agree with Steve. Depending on tyre size, brand and load rating you may have to run very low pressures to get grip. My original Bridgestone tyres seem to work best at around 19 psi but the present tyres seem to need lower pressures. YepI have found it. I will be the proud owner of my Cosworth Xtreme within the next few days. Spent an afternoon looking it over and you would not think that it has been 12 years since I last owned it. It has aged well with a few minor marks here and there but it essentially the same unmolested car I sold in 2005. Can't wait to drive it again.
