Its because of a photo shop picture that was at Stoneligh a couple of years
ago. It showed a 6wheel Quantum Coupe converted into a pick up.
Total waste of time, but none the less a good fun challenge to pull off.

Good to hear you are attending, especially as the round headlight 2+2 is a very 
rare car.
Enjoy the event.
I might be there, but as yet still undecided. 
However, I am very pleased to say that I now have a 2+2 as a company car :-)
Its not drivable for me yet as I have to get it converted for one handed 
driving. As soon as it is, Rob and I are going to town on the bodywork to 
create a one off that can represent the company. Watch this space as they say.

After last years very disappointing turn out of Quantums, ie low numbers.
Can anyone here encourage me to attend.
I love Quantums and really enjoy looking at the cars on our stand as well as 
meeting up with all the owners, but last year was painful to see. Low number of 
cars and a practically empty club tent.
I want to see a vibrant, energetic stand full of owners, so do I take the 
chance of attendance this year or not?

Most of the details were passed onto John Sampson.
I did have all the records when I had Quantum, but passed them back to John 
when I gave Q back to him.
I can confirm that John still has all the records and they are safe.
I would also like to say that John does take the DPA seriously and those 
details,are safe in his care.

[Quantum Owners] Quantum saloon fuel tank

The Mk2 fuel tank is larger than the Mk1. Ford did thhis by making the Mk2 tank 
deeper than the Mk1 Tank.
If your current fuel tank has taken a beating, fitting an even larger one is 
going to cause some big problems with ground clearance.
If you were to "lift" the tank up, the body underneath the rear seat would need 
to be reshaped which in turn would prevent the back seat from being used.

This is going in my new car a Quantum 2+2.
Yes you all did read that right.
With Andy Heatons help, I have decided its time to get back in the Quantums, 
also the 2+2 will give me more time to finalise details on conversion work with 
my Coupe.
