[Quantum Owners] Dynamic Mouldings closing down
Hello all. Now I know the title might be a bit of a shock, but this is not bad news, its good. Rob and I are exiting the business unit on the 21st July for the last time. There has been a serious down turn of work in the GRP industry since the massive increase in raw material costs over last winter. On top of this, on the run up to the referendum, the bad mouthing of our economy took literally thousands pounds of turn over from us,as people either delayed work or pulled away over fears of loosing money. Now add into that, more diktats from the EU on our business which would cost £10s thousands and it simply is not worth continuing on, so we have decided to close down. This is good news as Rob has been able to find work with a commercial property maintenance company, which will use his considerable experience. For me, well I have two options on the table, one of them,I am unable to speak about right now. But the other is retraining to become a disability driving instructor. I have been able to return to driving, so hope to enable others like me to get their freedom back and drive once again. Lets hope. The main thing for us Quantum Owners is that I am passing all.the moulds except the Coupe Nose Cone Mould to Rob who owns Quantum Sports Cars. I have done this as I felt it very important that the moulds ate open to you all and can continue to support our cars. Rob is very dedicated to these cars and I urge you to support him. The Coupe Nose Cone Mould, I am keeping to support my own car, and of course.if someone wants one, I will make it for you. There you go, good news all round. Thank you for supporting me over the years, I have really enjoyed the projects we have done, but this chapter once I finish one last Coupe is done.
