Hi All I have also spoken to the owner and have been told the same thing. However I still have a brand new Mk2 bodyshel down here that is rolling. I need to cut a car up to produce the new Quantum, but really do not want to cut up a new car. If some one an buy this car, I am offering the new shell for £2000 ie the cost ofa good respray. I then would be most happy to collect the old shell from the owner andcut up that one. Accident damage really does not bother me in the slightest, but I just do not have the time to rebuild another car with theamount of work I currently have. It's over to you guys, come on let's save this car with the new shell and also have hand in giving the Quantum brand a new start. Haggle with me for the shell, anything but let's save that Coupe. I asked the question. Apparently it's a write-off because the drivers side has been smashed in, and it has vandal damage during storage. So I guess it's either one for Eddie, or it's spares only. Maybe he has cloned another kit car using the chassis no. & V5c, I have already seen one Lotus 7 inspired car with a Q2xxx chassis plate attached, the buyer had purchased the completed car in good faith as a Quantum & was amazed when I told him the car needed an IVA test & that his insurance would be invalid.
