Er mine is white like the other 90% of them (guess). I don't suppose there are 
any distinguishing marks except some subtle-ish bonnet vents. 

Maybe we should all go along to the next piston heads meet up, twice it's been 
at BMW hq in Bracknell now.  I'm trying to get Ian and his Morgan along to a 
tunnel run sometime also.  That could be fun with a few turbod cars - yes I'm a 
big kid!

In the end I found out you can still get this from Ford at £27 +vat.
Blackbushe Motors got one for me in half an hour for 20quid less than
the ford price!

Several on EBay, seems there was a change in 1985/1986, I don't know
what the difference is, Quinton Hazell part no. is QCC1239 which is
the early one with an outer cable length of 813mm & overall length of
1107mm, the later one is no longer listed, the QH part no. was
QCC1339 & there is at least one on EBay.
