Just this minute logged in and saw this, really hope it isn't too bad. It is never nice to have something stolen and sometimes it appears worse when you get it back but give it time and you will forget about the incident and start enjoying your car again (been there and got the Tee shirt). It was a yellow gelcoat. The only thing that makes it a little different to others is the black boot spoiler off a rover 420 hatchback. I don't have any photos of the car as I lost those in a house fire a couple of years ago. cheers guys Mark Miles Landlord The Grapes Inn Scaling Dam Saltburn by the sea TS13 4TP 07741 242477 From: "karlna...@sky.com" To: quantumowners@googlegroups.com Sent: Monday, 6 May 2013, 21:51 Subject: [Quantum Owners] Re: stolen 2+2 Sorry to hear that. I have now moved to north yorkshire/cleveland borders. The car was stolen in berkshire from the garage it was being stored in. I am keeping an eye on ebay etc for it but don't hold out massive hope. As the car was in quite poor condition there had been a lot of interest in it from the fiesta community. Her Majestys finest tell me they are doing all they can, which, in my experience means looking for it on speed cameras or in a pile of paperwork. This is particularly annoying because I am so far away and don't have eyes on the area any more. Cheers for your support guys and should any of you find yourselves driving the north yorkshire moor roads please pop in and say hi. It's probably already sripped for the fiesta parts. As a Quantum its value is low but as a pile of parts its worth a lot more. We have already seen Duttons scrapped to rebuild MK1 Escorts. Lets hope this isn't the start of a trend with our Quantums being at higher risk of theft.
