Andy, No inside it sits behind the balloon on the rubber seal, if you look what happens to it, it gets squashed as it goes around the corner and allows water that gets behind the header rail to come over the top of the seal. Andy, Good luck, I gave up with the hardtop on my first 2+2 as the soft top was more waterproof. One thing that I had success with was to glue some clear plastic tube around the top corners sort of behind the seal, this stops the seal being squashed completely and allows the water to run through and down the A pillars.
