[qubes-users] Uninstall windows and install qubes
Hi, I completed my tests on USB Qubes. Now I wonder, while installing Qubes, will it give an option "replace Windows with Qubes" as in the case of Ubuntu? My other relevant (real) question is, I have to fully format my PC (format C:) (I want to get rid off someone I know who has been hacking me for 8 years!). Then I believe first I need to install Windows so that I can install the drivers, and then replace Windows with Qubes. Because installing all the drivers via Qubes seem to be troublesome. Re: [qubes-users] Re: Cannot get installer to load, Help and advice welcomed (semi-noob here).
Thank you, it worked. I strongly suggest Qubes staff add these two points on their website. Perhaps, the second one (enable VT-x etc.) is obvious to computer engineers, or even the first one (try legacy). However, not all of us are computer focused individuals. Once again, thank you for your helps. Re: [qubes-users] TemplateVM clonning returning a cube with blank Applications - Available field and no terminal
Hi, I’m almost done with tests on Qubes-USB. I only couldn’t update Fedora. I tried Gnome software (from 26 to 28): I clicked next at incompatible software warning window, then nothing happened. As directed on the official website, I also tried via commands on the terminal (from 26 to 27): no success. I can’t make Applications appear on the qube settings unfortunately. I waited long enough for the “refresh” button as suggested above, but nothing happened again. I test Qubes on 3.0 USB flash (128 GB only, so it is small size), is it because of Qubes on USB in general, or due to my incompetent flash disk, or any other reason you think? Appreciate your helps. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
