Hi Lorenzo,

I did not have this enabled. But also after turning it on (and rebooting) 
the presentation mode does not work correctly.

You can check the steps documented in this wiki.
 http://thinkwiki.de/BIOS-Update_ohne_optisches_Laufwerk_unter_Linux

You basically need to download the BIOS update as ISO image, then use 
'geteltorito' to convert it to an image. Then 'dd' it to a USB stick.
