[R-pkg-devel] Warning: Vignettes missing from index

2021-04-20 Thread Marcelo Araya Salas
I am trying to build the website for my NatureSounds package with pkgdown
but I got the following error message:

Warning: Vignettes missing from index:

I already have this metadata in the vignette:

vignette: >
   %\VignetteIndexEntry{Acoustic data sets in NatureSounds}
   %\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
   %\VignetteEncoding{UTF-8}
   %\VignetteEngine{knitr::rmarkdown}

I cannot find any thing about it when searching online. Any help would be
appreciated!

thanks!
Marcelo

[R-pkg-devel] (no subject)

2020-10-18 Thread Marcelo Araya Salas
Hi all

Hi all,

I got this warning message when I run pkgdown::build_site()

Warning: Vignettes missing from index: (all the vignette names here)

And then the vignettes are not included in the package website

This didn't happen before. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

Thanks!

Marcelo

[R-pkg-devel] Warning: parse error in file 'Rraven-Ex.R'

2020-02-04 Thread Marcelo Araya Salas
Hi all

I got this error from CRAN tests:

Warning: parse error in file 'Rraven-Ex.R':
'\.' is an unrecognized escape in character string starting ""\."

However, I can't find the original file where the error is found. I have
try unsuccessfully for several hours :(

any suggestions on how to find it?

thanks!

Marcelo

[R-pkg-devel] new package processing time

2020-02-03 Thread Marcelo Araya Salas
Hi all

I submitted a new package to CRAN a couple of weeks ago. Does anyone know
how long does it take for the package to be processed? New package versions
are usually processed in a few hours so that's why I am wondering if
everything is fine.

thanks

[R-pkg-devel] Package removed due to dependency error (but dependency not removed)

2018-02-07 Thread Marcelo Araya Salas
Hi all

I have a couple of packages that depend on a third package (seewave
<https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/seewave/index.html>). My packages
were removed from CRAN because an issue with this dependency: seewave
produces an error when installed in r-release-osx-x86_64
<https://cran.r-project.org/web/checks/check_flavors.html#r-release-osx-x86_64>.
However, seewave has not been removed (???). It seems a bit unfair to me.
Does anyone have any recommendation on how to proceed from now? They asked
me to wait for 2 days a week ago but nothing has happened and now they are
not responding my emails.

thanks
