[Bioc-devel] Code of Conduct Update

2021-11-28 Thread Saskia Freytag
Hi everyone,

As the end of the year near, I wanted to take the opportunity to remind
everyone of the Code of Conduct
(https://www.bioconductor.org/about/code-of-conduct/),
 which governs all interactions in Bioconductor spaces (including this mailing
list). The Code of Conduct was recently updated as we had members leave the
Code of Conduct Committee and new members join. The new members are:

  *   Michael Love
  *   Federico Marini
  *   Sowmya Parthiban
  *   Anna Quaglieri
  *   Lluís Revilla

Cheers and happy holidays,

Saskia

Re: [Bioc-devel] Access to schex

2021-05-21 Thread Saskia Freytag
Hi Nitesh,

I have added multiple keys (using both my maintainer addresses), but none of
them seem to change anything. Could it be that there is a problem with the
email addresses registered to the package? It may be that a year ago we changed
these to make them the same between RUVcorr and schex.

Cheers,

Saskia

Hi Saskia ,

Please try to add new keys. It’s possible you aren’t using the correct key pair
to access your package.

Best,

Nitesh

Subject: [Bioc-devel] Access to schex
Hi,

I am the maintainer of the schex package. I tried to update the package but
when I get to the step of pushing the changes to upstream, I get the following
error message:
FATAL: W any packages/schex SaskiaFreytag DENIED by fallthru
(or you mis-spelled the reponame)
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
Do I need to change my ssh keys in Bioccredentials or is there something deeper
going on?

Cheers,

Saskia

[Bioc-devel] Problems with Biocredentials

2020-03-31 Thread Saskia Freytag
Hi,

I have added an SSH key to my GitHub and to the Biocredentials app, but I still
cannot see my GitHub username appear. I think that my GitHub Username is also
registered to another email and package (schex), could this lead to problems?

Cheers,

Saskia

[Bioc-devel] Problems with BiocCredentials

2020-03-22 Thread Saskia Freytag
Hi,

I am trying to push changes to the development release for my package RUVcorr.
Unfortunately, when I set it up, I used SVN. Now I am unable to access my
package. I have tried to log in to the BiocCredentials app, but have also been
unsuccessful. It does not seem to remember me (I cannot get the password
reset). Is there anyone who could help me?

Cheers,

Saskia

[Bioc-devel] Question regarding pruning release of large files

2019-12-18 Thread Saskia Freytag
Hi,

I stupidly added and tracked some large files in my package repo at the start.
I have since deleted these files and would like to permanently remove them form
my GitHub history. I have been able to this locally. However when I try to do
‘git push upstream RELEASE_3_10’, it asks me to fetch first. This results in
the history being restored. I have tried to do ‘git push —force’, but this
results in an error. Is there any way to delete the history of these files from
the upstream?

Cheers,

Saskia
