[R] Use of R in Schools
I am looking for information on experimentation with the use of R in the teaching of statistics and science in schools. Any leads would be very welcome. I am certain that there is such experimentation. I've made this inquiry on r-sig-teaching, with no response. John. It's quite interesting, and it links to some excellent slides that look great as templates for making your own R course. Re: [R] Use of R in Schools
I cannot offer direct experience with schools, but perhaps you are interested in having a look at RExcel (I am the author) which makes R accessible within Excel on Windows. One of the reasons of writing it was to make R more easily accessible for statistics education. rcom.univie.ac.at has more information John Maindonald wrote: > I am looking for information on experimentation with the use > of R in the teaching of statistics and science in schools.
