Hi It is weird. Maybe others could come with some sensible answer. I would try to start R with -vanilla switch Rgui.exe --vanilla and try if everything is OK. If yes, you could start loading packages and see how all is working. If not I think that the only option is reinstaling R and packges although it is tedious. With so little to go on, we are not likely to be much help. A reproducible example and output of sessionInfo would be the minimum information that the Posting Guide would tell you to provide. A wild guess is that you need to have a conversation with your system administrator.
