Thanks, should be fixed now (adding index removed symlink following permission).

[R-SIG-Mac] R-latest.pkg link returning a 403 Forbidden error

2020-02-17 Thread Jim Hester
The link https://mac.r-project.org/bin/macosx/R-latest.pkg which
previously served the latest version of R is now returning a 403. Is
this an intentional change, or is it an unintentional? This link is
used by the Travis-CI build scripts for macOS, so if the link is no
longer valid we will need to update the script.

Thanks,

Jim

[R-SIG-Mac] R.app not finishing loading

2020-02-17 Thread Martin Jean via R-SIG-Mac
Hi,

Since I upgraded my MacBook Air with maxOS Catalina (10.15.3), I am unable to
use R.app. It starts loading but R does not seem to load properly so the R.app
goes into infinite loop.

I have no problem to run R using RStudio.

My sessioninfo() from RStudio is:

R version 3.6.2 (2019-12-12)
Platform: x86_64-apple-darwin15.6.0 (64-bit)
Running under: macOS Catalina 10.15.3

Matrix products: default
BLAS:
/System/Library/Frameworks/Accelerate.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/vecLib.framework/Versions/A/libBLAS.dylib
LAPACK:
/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/3.6/Resources/lib/libRlapack.dylib

locale:
[1] fr_CA.UTF-8/fr_CA.UTF-8/fr_CA.UTF-8/C/fr_CA.UTF-8/fr_CA.UTF-8

attached base packages:
[1] stats graphics grDevices utils datasets methods base

loaded via a namespace (and not attached):
[1] compiler_3.6.2 tools_3.6.2

Thank for any advice.
